As you consider making a gift this giving season, please do so as part of the undivided effort to combat the barriers erected to divide us.

  • 8 million women were behind on rent or mortgage payments as of December 2021.
  • 579,00 fewer women in the labor force in July 2022 than in February 2020. Women make up 88.4% of net labor force leavers since February 2020.
  • 92% drop in mammograms per 1,000 women per month between May 2019 and May 2020.
  • 10% average increase in median rent for a one bedroom apartment in Chicago August 2022.
  • 83% of the pregnancy-related deaths in the Black population during the pandemic were potentially preventable with proper protocols, which were reduced due to the virus

Despite these barriers, it has been through courageous efforts that we have been able to keep Illinois a safe haven for all women, increase LGBTQ officials in Illinois by 10 percent, elect at least 135 women to serve in the 118th Congress in 2023, and make a new record of electing 12 women to serve as Governors.

There is still more work to be done. Be courageous this Giving Tuesday and join us as we forge on changing hearts and minds, building a movement – undivided.
